Healthcare IT Mission to China
The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), is organizing an executive-led Healthcare Business Development Mission to China, from October 16 – 21, 2016. The mission will be led by the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce with the participation of the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services. The purpose of the mission is open access to Chinese government health officials and to introduce U.S. firms and trade associations to the Chinese Healthcare market as well as assist U.S. companies to find business partners and export their products and services to China.
The mission will help participating firms and trade associations gain access to senior Chinese government officials, gain market insights, make industry contacts, solidify business strategies, and advance specific projects, with the goal of increasing U.S. exports to China. By participating in an official U.S. industry delegation, rather than traveling to China on their own, U.S. companies will enhance their ability to secure government meetings and gain greater exposure.
